1. Who we are

PINMart is operated by Pay It Now PNG Limited, a company registered in Papua New Guinea.

In these Terms, "we", "us" and "PINMart" mean that company. "You" means the person using the site.

PINMart is a marketplace. Buyers and sellers make the contract of sale with each other. We hold the money in escrow, take a commission, and step in when there is a dispute. We do not own, inspect or warrant the items people list.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to have an account.
• Give real details. Your name, email and phone number must be yours and correct.
• One person, one account. Do not create a second account to get around a suspension.
• Your username (handle) is public. It can use lowercase letters, numbers and underscores. Do not choose a handle that pretends to be PINMart, our staff, or another business.
• Keep your password to yourself. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
• We will never ask you for your PIN app PIN or password. Nobody from PINMart will ever ask for it.

You can close your account from your account page. See what closing an account does — some records must be kept by law, and money matters must be finished first.

3. Buying

When you buy, your Kina moves out of your PINMart wallet and is held in escrow. The seller can see the money is secured, but is not paid yet.

• Meet the seller, check the item, then confirm in the app. Only then is the seller paid.
• If something is wrong, report a problem instead of confirming. That freezes the money and brings us in.
• If the seller marks the item handed over and you do nothing, the money releases to the seller after 7 days. Reporting a problem stops that clock.
• While your money is held and the seller has not yet marked handover, you can cancel the order yourself. The Kina goes straight back to your PINMart wallet.
• Digital products are different: you can download the file as soon as you pay, so the sale is treated as delivered. See the Refund policy.
• Bids in an auction are binding. If you win, you must pay. An unpaid auction order is cancelled after 24 hours and the listing is released.

Buyers pay no PINMart fee. Buying, and topping up your wallet, cost you nothing.

4. Disputes

If a buyer reports a problem before confirming, the money stays in escrow and stops moving. Our team looks at both sides and does one of two things: releases the money to the seller, or refunds it to the buyer.

• Our decision is about who gets the money held in escrow. It does not stop you using any other right you have under PNG law.
• Give us the facts: photos, messages, and what was agreed. We can read the messages sent through PINMart for that listing.
• Reporting a problem is not a free undo. Reporting problems that turn out to be false can get your account suspended.

5. Selling

Listing is free. You pay a commission only when your item sells through PIN escrow.

The exact commission is frozen onto the order when the sale is made and shown on the receipt for that sale. We may change the rates in future; the current rates and the per-category schedule we may switch to are always published on Fees, limits and timing.

• Sale money settles for 15 days after the sale completes, then joins your available balance. Your account page shows the exact date for each sale.
• Only list things you own or are allowed to sell. Describe them honestly, with real photos of the actual item.
• List one item per listing, in the right category, at a real price. Do not use the price or title to game search.
• Do not take a deal off-platform to avoid commission. That removes the buyer protection that makes PINMart worth using, and it can get your account suspended.
• For a digital product, the file you upload is the file the buyer gets. It must be yours to sell and must stay available until the order completes.
• Motors, Property, Jobs and Services are advertised as classifieds. You deal with the other person directly and pay no commission unless you complete the sale through PIN escrow.

6. Your PINMart wallet and PIN

You have two wallets. Your PINMart wallet is your balance here. Your PIN app wallet is your own Pay It Now account. Money moves between them; trades happen with your PINMart wallet.

• Top up by paying a QR code from your PIN app. A single top-up must be between K1.00 and K20,000.00.
• Pay the exact amount on the QR code. We credit your wallet only when the amount PIN reports matches the QR code to the toea.
• If you pay a different amount, the payment is HELD and not credited. It is not lost. Our team checks it and then either credits it or sends it back to the wallet that paid.
• Withdraw to your PIN app wallet at any time: K10.00 minimum, or your whole balance. You can withdraw up to K5,000.00 in any 24 hours.
• A new or changed payout address is held for 24 hours before it can be paid. This protects you if someone gets into your account.
• Every withdrawal is reviewed and paid by hand by our finance team, as soon as our payout method allows. The fees and limits page gives the usual wait and what happens if it takes longer.
• Your PINMart balance is money we hold for you. It earns no interest and is not a bank deposit.

7. What you may not do

You may not list, or use PINMart for, any of the following.

• Anything illegal in Papua New Guinea.
• Firearms, ammunition, explosives, and weapons that need a licence.
• Drugs, drug equipment, and prescription medicines.
• Live animals, and protected wildlife or plant products.
• Stolen goods, or anything you cannot prove you may sell.
• Counterfeit or copied goods, and pirated films, music or software.
• Human remains, body parts, and body fluids.
• Alcohol and tobacco, unless you hold the licence the law requires.
• Adult or sexual services and material.
• Other people’s personal information, account logins, or databases.
• Money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, and anything that is really a loan or an investment.
• Land or property you do not own or are not authorised to advertise.

And you may not do any of the following.

• Lie about an item, or use photos that are not of the item you are selling.
• Bid on your own listing, or arrange for someone else to bid it up.
• Ask a buyer to pay outside PINMart, or ask for a bank transfer or top-up "to hold" an item.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse another member.
• Scrape the site, or use bots to bid, list or message.
• Try to get around a suspension, a limit, or a security check.

If you break these rules we may take down a listing, hold or reverse a payment, or suspend your account. A suspended account cannot buy, sell, bid or withdraw. Money already owed to you is not taken from you; it stays in your balance while we sort the matter out.

8. What we are and are not responsible for

We are responsible for:

• Holding your money in escrow and releasing it under the rules on this page.
• Paying out a withdrawal you are entitled to.
• Keeping an accurate, permanent record of every movement of money in your account.
• Deciding disputes honestly, on the evidence both sides give us.

We are not responsible for:

• The quality, safety, legality or description of anything a member lists. We do not inspect items.
• What happens when you meet someone in person. Read Safe meetups before you go.
• A deal you complete off-platform. If the money did not go through PIN escrow, we cannot help you get it back.
• The PIN app itself, which is run by Pay It Now, or delays inside it.
• The site being unavailable for a time, for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.

Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the commission you paid PINMart in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — for example lost profit, lost business, or lost time.

Nothing in these Terms takes away a right you have under Papua New Guinea law that cannot be taken away by agreement.

9. Changing these Terms, and ending them

• We may change these Terms. We give you 14 days notice, by email or as a notification in the app, before a change takes effect. The date at the top of this page always shows when it last changed.
• A change never applies backwards to an order that is already in escrow. That order finishes under the rules that applied when it was made.
• You can stop using PINMart at any time, and close your account from your account page.
• We can suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms. We will tell you why unless the law stops us.

10. Which law applies

These Terms are governed by the laws of Papua New Guinea.

If we cannot settle a dispute between us, both sides must first try in good faith to resolve it through mediation. If mediation does not settle it, the dispute is heard by the courts of Papua New Guinea.

Before anything formal, please email us. Almost everything is settled faster that way, and it costs you nothing to try.
